I now know that I'm getting some new tires as a gift, but I have to choose between Dunlop or Cooper, as I can get a discount on them through others. So what should I get? Cobra's I've heard are only a "performance" tire.

I'm looking for a good handling tire, one that doesn't feel sloppy in a turn. I need all-seasons, but I prefer a bias towards performance. I checked on the Dunlop SP5000 ones, and one dealer says they don't make them anymore.twrsho:
All-seasons? Summer Tires? What kind of performance are you after? I personally prefer Dunlops over Coopers.
The server is STILL down, and I'm getting mad at it! By this Saturday, I'll have room on another server, where you can get the movies. Here's the link, try it Saturday afternoon:twrsho:
P.S. What's up with your site - I wanted to download the 40meg version of the SHO movie??

How do you like that tire size on your SHO, Mark? When I can afford it I was thinking of putting 215/50-17 Yokohama AVS ES-100 on a set of 17X7 centerline RPM wheels for my 89 MTX. Seems to me a 235 would be too wide for best performance from a 7" rim.

I thought it was pretty damn hilarious myself, but some people complained to me that it was rude and disgusting, so I removed it. Oh well91 SHOplus:
