FYI only, I weighed my new BFG G-Force KDW tire that came in this week. It was 26 pounds for the tire itself, at 235/45-17.

22 lbs, according to Team Dynamics, although they said they used something like a bathroom scale, and expect the actual weights to be slightly less than published weights.

So with tires your whole wheel weighs in @26lbs right?(i'm a little lost) So the tires would only be 4lbs, which would make the RIM2000's @22lbs like u said. Also Fred I belive your rims(17"X7.5") should weight only like 20lbs. Because i was told by Team Dynamics that my 18"X8" Motorsports weigh 24lbs ea.

According to the weight chart I have from TD, you are correct - 18x8 Motorsport = 24lb. Their heaviest wheel is the 18" Diablo.

Their lightest 17+ = 17" Qualifier at 19lb (no SHO fitment though), or the 17" DTM at 20lb (fits SHO, but being discontinued). These do not count the new lightweight forged wheels they unveiled at SEMA.

I guess you could ask Pirelli what theirs weigh. I'd hazard a guess it would be a couple pounds lighter, but not that much so. Yours are smaller on the sidewall but a little wider (at 245, right?)

Nope 235/40/18 My next set of rims will either use my current set of tires, if no one decides to buy my wheels like before. Or 245/40/19 if i do sell my wheels(extra $ for rubber), plus the new rims will be lighter. New rims for RI-SHO are confidential to further notice
