Hey guys. I would like to run the Falken 452s on my stock SHO wheels and was wondering if I could put on a 235 tire successfully with no issues whatsoever. I've read through the previous threads and it seems this is possible, but I just want to make extra sure. Thanks alot.

You can do it yes, but will not aid in traction. If anything it will hurt it. A stock slicer is only 6in wide, a 235 width tire is made for a 7-8in wide wheel. Your sidewalls will experience excessive flex and the tires will bow out from the wheels... It is possible but not recommended. I would not go larger than a 225...

x2 what he said.

Falken likely has published recommended wheel widths for the tires. If those recommendations for the 235s aren't close to including 6" wheels (and I'm expecting that's the case), then I wouldn't recommend trying it.

It's physically possible to do, but not at all advisable.
