I believe the recommended size for the stock 215/60/16 tires is 32PSI.

Actually, the recommended pressure for the stock size tires is 35 psig front and back for both the 215/65VR15s on the basketweaves and the 215/60VR16s on the slicers. This pressure has no bearing on the optimum pressure for a non-stock size tire or a non-stock size wheel. It is the pressure of the air inside the tire that supports the weight of the car. With more area from wider tires, the pressure should be reduced a proprtional amount. I cannot run higher than 32 psig in the 225/55ZR16s on my 7.5" wide wheels without rapidly and unevenly wearing the center tread area of the tire.
