Toyo Proxes TPT vs Dunlop SP Sport 5000.
What do you think?
My research on the topic is as follows.
The Toyos are V-rated and the Dunlops are Z-rated, not a big deal. Based on what www.1010tires.com had to say, the Toyos get a 4.7/5 in dry grip and a 4.5/5 in handling while the Dunlops got a 4.4/5 in dry grip and a 4.1/5 in handling.
The site lists the Toyos as high performance and the Dunlops as ultra high performance. It looks like the Toyos scored better, but the Dunlops are more sporty? I own one set of each, but I am trying to figure out which set I want to run on my new blings, and which set to put on my slicers. I will be using the blings predominately in the summer and the slicers in the spring/fall. What do you think?

How does their comparison system work?

It may be that the lower scores the Dunlops ended up with were for the Ultra High Performance category ONLY. It may be an apples to oranges comparo. I don't know, just a thought.

I also looked at tirerack.com and the SP 5000s outscored the summer ultra highperformance Dunlops in dry traction. And these are all-seasons. DAMN!
I don't know how their comparos work, unfortunately. I just want to know if anyone has had experience with or knows about these tires.
