Why would you want to tint the windshield? Sunglasses are probably an easier solution. :D

Most of the time, if you tint all the windows except the front window you usually can't see in the front window anyways. How would you expect to see out through the windshield at night? I'm not sure you could even bribe a shop to do that. For what it's worth, my '96 SHO was black and had 35% on all sides (minus the front) and it looked fine. My current car is black too and it will get the same treatment.

My neighbor always tint's every window including the front windshield. (i think 20 percent all windows and 35 percent front windshield)

She has never complained about driving @ night.

Never rec. a ticket either for illegal tinting.

I guarantee you she will one of theses days.
Ummm I believe everyone with tint well eventually get caught if they have tint on there windows in a state where it is illegal.

So my philosphy is if your going to get a ticket/court or have to remove it and still pay the same price for 35% or 5% why not darker?

On my last SHO I had 15% around and another layer of 5% on the rear window, got tickets for my exhaust and warnings for my tint, 2 tickets in 2yrs and I got out of those because my friend worked at a gas station of the RI inspection stamp. In my TL-S I have 20% everywhere including the windshield with black interior, I just took it off recently to get it inspected for the 1st time then getting 15% all around.

Now with RI-SHO II I plan to push it to the limit of 15% on the sides and 5% in the windshield/rear window, now this wont be my everyday car which is why I'll be pushing and if I drive I live 2miles from the MA/RI stateline :D you can only get pulled over for tint in the state your inspected/registered in. As you can tell I want to black this SHO all out, already has the black 50/50 interior which I also plan to fully releather all of it with midnight ebony leather, then black badges/front turn signals.

Heres the first 6set of gauges I plan to add to my SHO to monitor some vitals(in black of course), what do you guys think-->

I think that it is unsafe to drive at night with a tinted front windshield, and the fact that you are taking it off before going to inspection would indicate it is not legal in your area, so perhaps the smart thing to do would be to not tint the front windshield.
