I was just thinking. I am probably going to have to tear into the front end to replace my water pump. (currently waiting on some input in another thread before doing so)
I am going to make sure my timing is in check if so. I recently had a new timing belt installed. Upon trying to diagnose a huge power loss a month later, I noticed the timing marks on the cam sprockets were 1 tooth to the rear of the car. (slightly out of time) Days later, my power loss problem finally got solved... a terribly clogged exhaust pipe. (I was even revving to 6500 rpms 3 times in a row on the dyno with this obstruction)
My question is simply this... did this clogged exhaust pipe cause my timing to be off?
