Michelin Pilot Super Sports have traditionally been at the top of the summer tire heap, but the other tires in your list are very good as well.
I 2nd the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Expensive, but worth it in my opinion. They perform great on dry pavement, are exceptional in the rain. Rated at 30K miles, I have 20K on them now and when I just swapped them out and put my winter Blizzaks on 18" wheels on, they looked like they should go another 20K before they hit the wear indicators.

Cooper zeons, I have run the all season version on my g8, buddies mustang club all ran the summer version and swore by them. I loved them in g8, could race in the rain, decent in winter, was like a summer tire in the summer. Wore really good too. My favorite tire.....I ran michelin super sport A/S 3 tires which sucked. Those Generals were my go to tire before the Zeons.

I looking for an all season when this snow season brakes. more like a 3 season tire dipping into the 4th. I have Blizzak for winter.
kind of thinking of these 3. Buying soon as income tax is in :)
90% will be highway driving and lets say 30k per year. 10k on Blizzak and the 20kon one of the below.

Living on the great Lake between Buffalo and Cleveland. Driving area would be KY,OH,WV,VA,PA,NY,MD
Maybe overthinking it. or should i be looking at something else?

any help appriciated

I'm finding myself ready to shop for tires to replace the OE michelins. Seeing a nice list of options here, but curious if any of these have the same extra 'rib' of rubber in the tire at the bead, which the Michelins have, and is supposed to help try and shield the rim from curb contact.
Our rims are really starting to show wear, my wife has a difficult time not making contact with the curb when parking. Maybe I'll need to pursue those rim protectors I have seen offered by a few sources. Just not sure how I feel about adding a colored plastic ring and maybe covering the "SHO" that is cast into the edge of teh rim.

The new Cooper Zeon RS3 G1 are the bomb! Relatively inexpensive unreal dry traction, best rain tire ever, lasts forever too 500 AA A rating. Research them, they get really good reviews, best tire I ever ran period.

Just bought 4 Conti DWS O6 extreme contact and they're very quiet on the road !. The car handling is much better that what I had on the car from the dealer. Time will tell but I did a very deep research and most of the reviews are way above the Michelin Pilot Sports A/ S3 ones !! At the end is up to the person/driver .

Hands on Look a the Eagle F1 Asymmetric All-Season.
Son just got a set of rims last week, he just told me that's what is on them on them. He wanted the rims for his VW GLI
They come 10/32 45K warrenty, 15K and they are at 5/32. Not impressive would work out to another 15k and being bald.
Wear is even. making it 15k short of the 45K warranty.

BTW they do have the extra bead of rubber that TDS-MN mentioned

Feel myself moving to the DWS

I don't have experience with the Eagle F1 All Season tires. However, I do have experience with the summer performance tires and their life was terrible. The tires performed great and were superb in the rain. But at just 20k miles they were pretty close to shot and completely bald at 25k miles. If you're driving 30k in a year I would stay away from the Eagle's. I've never really seen a review for any Eagle F1 variant where someone talks about their good wear.

Had Eagle F1s on my Jetta... terrible tires for a DD... life was short.. cupped really easy... but for 20K miles they held on to the road like a baby to a ******..

Summer performance in general suck in the winter because that soft compound that make them sticky in the summer gets hard in the winter...

Well, tires are much more than what I thought. I live in Michigan and have 20" wheels. Any ideas pin Michigan ties I can buy without buying both winter and summer.

Same boat as me, Erie PA.
Almost have to go with a 2nd set. Never know what our winters bring. I have to drive through Buffalo at times and Would go no less than snows in Winter.
Have seen them get 6'. I think that was 3 years ago.
Running Blizzak right now and were of no use as no more than 5" at any one time. 2" out there right now. No ice on the bay even , no ice Fishing this season.

Think an all season would have been fine for this winter. BUT now That I said that I expect the Snow Demons to Visit in the next week or so, lol

I can also recommend the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. I've had them on my car for a few months now, and they are exceptional in both dry and wet conditions. they are basically re branded Bridgestone Potenza re003, a tire that is very popular overseas.

Here's a review from TireRack, I realize some new tires have come to market since then, but they are still a great choice for the price! Right now they are going for 138$ per tire.

I just traded in Generals (G Max) for Michelin's (Pilot Sport A/S 3).....what a difference! Very quiet, tracks very well and super responsive. Only concern is a little soft on the sidewall strength....only when I bank into a curve at 70+ will I notice a slight ripple. It's a whole different ride with the Michelin's. Price was up there, but the rewards are worth the ride.

I will never Run Generals
Had a Mustang and felt like sliding on sand when stopping

Had a Company Rav4 that had Generals. Tire Light went on , felt a bump in left rear area on 22 Outside Allentown PA.
Looked out Side mirror and seen a tire rolling past me and up the light post on the side of the road about 5 ' up the pole.
Happened so Quick before I realized, I only was riding only on side walls. one of the most screwed up feelings in the world

Never again Generals
