Thumping sound in left front?

I am having a problem with my green 91+. There is a thumping sound when turning to the right. I have checked my wheel bearing and CV shaft. Both seem to be OK. The ammount of "play" from the CV shaft, into the quaife is what has me concerned. I think my problem is in the differential bearing. Any thoughts? Thanks guys, Brian
