I will start from day 1. It is a 95.

When I first bought the car you would hear this very faint vacuum leak noise coming from behind the dash under acceleration. This continued and nothing went wrong so I just forgot about it.

After changing my water pump I accidently started the car up with very little coolant in the system. A loud thumping sound started at start up. Continued for about 2 minutes wail I added coolant then slowly stopped.

Today I started the car up and the thumping is back but with a loud clicking sound. I also cannot get any cold air to come out of the system. Set it to 60 on any setting and all you get is 90+ degree air. The thumping would become louder with when you change the temperature or up the fan speed. Now the thumping has stopped but the lack of cold air still exists.

My only guess would be the motor or whatever is used to block off the heater core is stuck and is thumping. I will be doing research wail I wait for answers. If you know of a good thread on my problem, please at least point me in the right direction.

Thanks for any help. I really would like to have some cold air when spring comes along.

You notice the instructions in the "How do I section"? It may be for heater core or something but most of the work is the same.

Yeah I saw it. I have previously quickly read through it but now I will go back and study it. Thanks for the help.
