Throttle cable stretched?

Every time I get on the gas(more than a quarter of the way down) My throttle stays open. The plastic boot slides out of the keeper and holds the throttle open...time for a new cable?

Every time I get on the gas(more than a quarter of the way down) My throttle stays open. The plastic boot slides out of the keeper and holds the throttle open...time for a new cable?

Check your alignment of the cables where they meet the throttle body. YOu may need to adjust the throttle body bracket.
