Interesting thing happened to me on my way back from lunch today. I was going back to the office when my throttle stuck open between shifts.
I shut the car off and get it to the side of the road. Get under the hood and noticed that the lower bolt that connects the bracket to the throttle body is MIA. Not only that, the top one had backed out a few threads as well.
I don't have any tools in my SHO (Dumb @rse move. I just learned a lesson the hard way) I was able to tighten the top bolt back down with my hand and nurse it back to work.
Does anyone know what the size of the bolt that connects the throttle bracket to the throttle body. I have an autozone about half a mile from where I work and figured I could get the car there, pick the bolt up from Autozone and install it right there in the parking lot.
Worst case scenario if no one knows, I can just remove the top bolt when I get to Autozone when I get there.
Thanks in advance!!!!
