My throttle is not fully returning to the idle adjust screw causing the car to sometimes idle high. I've tried messing around with it a bit and can't seem to get it to fully return...sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Does anybody know how to properly fix this?

Does it seems to be gummed or something , you can always spray some Carb cleaner on the plate & pin , to remove gum/oil/grease.

Might be the spring thats tired...

...yeah I tried the carb cleaner with no success. I figure it's the spring, but how hard would it be to take apart and just replace the spring...or would it be easier to find a used thottle body and just swap out the whole thing?

spring is easy to remove... if you take it off just stretch the spring out see if it feels weak and then move the throttle body by hand see how hard that is to move. kinda guess about this.
either rip is all apart and rebuild it or just grab another one.

Uhh, yeah, I'm guessing since he hasn't posted any further information about this issue in nearly TWO MONTHS that it was resolved.
