I have a question about the throttle body...what is the black plastic thing clipped to it? What does it do? I just noticed that mine was disconnected a week ago (dunno how long it was like that). It is connected now but there is no difference in anything. SHO ran fine without it connected and runs the same with it connected. What is it is all I want to know. Thank you for your time.

If you are referring to the plastic clip on the throttle cam lever, then that is the cruise control linkage.
