I'm not doing any burn outs. problems there aren't many now that the car starts and it has a tach. But I think it needs a clutch pain in the but to shift gears when I shift to second from first while I'm on it I have to pull it back and hold it so it will go in to gear it takes like 1-2 seconds before the sync's alighn.

Ok here it goes:

Your at 59k miles.

1st, Rotate your tires and general maintenance.
2nd, 60k mile service.
3rd, fix that dangerous play in your shifter with new bushings
4th, Your gonna wanna do your diff the same time as your clutch. Go with a Southbend DXD clutch, and then the wavetac Diff, welded diff, or the other kinda diff I cant seem to remember. :brainfart:
5th, like I said the factory air box is best, just do a drop in K&N air filter.

This is just my advice... Senior members... a little more help on this...

i just put in my k&n filter and stock airbox and i sware the thing is slower... before i was running a spectre system with a cone filter near the whole in the fender where the stock system pulled from

Everywhere I have read people say the the best thing is the stock air box with a drop in K&N

There is no way on earth I can pay for a DXD clutch it may be the best but I can't afford it.

No one has mentioned this......but don't you dare change the color on a 91Mocha Plus!! Vary rare esp with only 60K! The Plus edition is rare & only in 91 could you get the Mocha color & only on the Plus model.(search 'Plus')

Sorry to tell you it isn't a plus it was made almost exactly 20 years ago november 1990.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy the new ride. I was at a show tonight and ironically enough I had old men come up and talk to me about my factory stock SHO. they were a telling me stories about how they had one and loved the car. Didn't get the looks as much as the GTP. Even though it didn't place in the 90's class I still had one he'll of a good time. Yet I didn't go home empty handed-The GTP took 2nd.

Oh yea and just to play along with everyone here make sure you search before you have a question. Cause pretty much the only response you are gonna get on this forum is asking if you searched. Then when you search the main responses you see are people asking if you searched. It's an endless battle, but there are some knowledgeable ****'s here that can get you back on the road when the time comes.
