I think I am going to order these. My question is did you order Part #TCA012 and do they have enough adjustment on them to work on the SHO? I ordered Shonut's kit for the GM arms.

Thanks, Will

Another question, anybody have the shoshop arms? Are they the GM arms or are they custom made?

Thanks

I`ve heard they are the GM bars.I beleive that Todd Cook is the only one to produce his own design, besides the few people here and there.

Don't forget Doug at FPS has had adjustable rear control arms for years. They are great, FAST4DR has pics of my car at the convention last year with them on. By far the best arms I have seen so far.

Hey GASHOGUY,

Yeah those arms are nice but they have solid ends. I want a little bit of give for NVH.

I ordered the BMR Fabrication "Part #TCA012" lateral links. They are a little more than I wanted to spend, but I don't ever plan on selling the car, so what the heck. They told me they would be shipping them on the 2nd of may or the 5th. I will post pics.

So...

GM bars

sunny San Juan Bautista,
I've heard that solid ends don't contribute to NVH on our cars. That said, I'm sure those BMR units will be a great upgrade. Let us know how it turns out!

I have talked to a few SHO owners that have removed their rear lateral links with the solid Heim joint ends and replaced them with the GM units and have been very pleased with the reduced NHV issues.

Todd from TCE had what may have been the nicest units with greaseable poly or poly/graphite bushings, but they are no longer available. The BMR units may be nice, but it's hard to beat the performance gain vs. dollar value of the GM units.

the 012 model you ordered will work fine, plenty of adjustment in the correct range. I also highly recommend the red boots from [email protected]. The boots look like they were made for the BMR's, protect the threaded area, and cosmetically sweet for a very cheap price. The BMR's are stronger than any other, have poly bushings, powder coated red, and are lighter than the others. Yeah, they cost more. And look it.

The BMR's are not lighter by much at 2.75 lbs each, while both the GM and the stock Ford units are 2.80 lbs each. Stronger, possibly. Look better, yes if you like powder coated red units. You can also order them in black powder coat as well. Either way the powder coated finish is more durable then the GM painted units.

Yehaaaaaaaaww! The BMR links were shipped yesterday! UPS tracking says they will be here on Tuesday. I will install them that day or Wednesday and then I have an alignment scheduled for Thursday morning and then the track event at Summit point on Friday. Not cutting it close or anything. :D

Just finished my full 60k also. Haven't started it yet because I have to finish putting on my struts so that somebody can hold the brakes while I retorque the crank bolt.
