Quick cleaning of the maf. My car was almost undrivable, i just a had a 60k and singles out the maf. Before i went to the junkyard to jack a better one, i cleaned my old one. Car is running just fine now. Just a quik tip...

What do you mean "quick cleaning of the MAF"? Do you mean you cleaned the two tiny wires inside the sensor or you cleaned out part of the MAF itself?

The filaments of the MAF should be cleaned more often than 60,000 miles. Especially if you tend to over-oil your K&N air filter.

I don't use a K&N filter but i do have 103,000 miles on the old girl. Should I clean the MAF? If so, what should I clean it with?
