This car is cursed...

First I have to say a HUGE thank you to Chad, Levi, and Matt, for making the drive out this way and giving me a hand.Thanks again guys, that really made me feel a lot better.

Ok, here's the situation.

After it was confirmed to run, and everybody left, I let it warm up while I picked up tools. Drove it a mile down the road to put air in the tire, and as I was doing that, I noticed it was starting to smoke while it was idling. And the longer she Idled, the heavier it got. I figued that maybe since it has sat for a year, it's just burning off oil drainage. Ran it up to 6k in 1st and second leaving the store, and the smoke disappeared. Then as I made the turn onto my street, she started skipping. Revved it back up, and lest it engine brake the rest of the way, clutched in to turn into the driveway and it died. Cranked back up, but it took a few turns, and now sounds like it's running on 5 or less...also noticed the tach jumping a bit. Cam sensor now?

Sounds like blowby to me, or a case of compromised compression. I have not experienced or heard of such a case tho ...

I'd check for spark on all six wires. New drive could have killled the coil pack, could have fouled one of the plugs. Could have been a couple things. Just take a breath and get back to it tommorow bro

LOl!... Yeah I'd considered that too. Chris, right as we had buttoned it up and were trying to get it to start, Levi noticed that the coil plug had come loose... So all that might have been for nothing LOL
