From Livervois Motorsports with there tune. I do have some concerns though just wanted to get the thoughts of some the guys here that have there SHO's tuned.

So far any issues, anyone even pulled a plug after a couple miles and get a read on what's happening inside? My biggest concern is that I live in Florida and it's really really flippin hot here. All the tuners are tuning in cool weather and good air where it rarely gets over 80 degrees and doesn't stay there very long. Temps in my car here will sit around 95-100 degrees for a couple months, it's 80's in the evenings here. Heat is just such a killer, especially on Turbo cars.

Anyone running any tune here in the hot and humid south? Any overall input would be great. How do you like it, ET's if you have them, gas mileage change, stuff like that...

Phantom, I can speak to Livernois tune specifically. The day mine was tuned it was around 90 with about 90% humidity (not unlike Florida weather). I know the tune isn't pushing the limits and it has more in it. I've had zero issues so far with the guys over there or the tune. I'm sure they will give you the details as to timing, a/f, boost etc. If you give them a call (I wont disclose that because I know tuners are a little weird about sharing info). That said, the tune is safe but the car is too new and not tested enough to know what and when the factory parts will start to fail. I'll pm you, feel free to give me a call with any questions.

I live in FL in the Winter, in IA in Summer. My EB Flex has a SCT tune from Unleashed Performance - St. Augustine, which includes a few lbs of extra boost as well as firmer tranny shifting. I have a MSD DashHawk plugged in full time which shows temps staying around 190. Only time I noticed temp going to 210 area was in a 5 mi uphill stretch of I-24 in Tenn. which I drove up at around 70 mph.

Also running 18" wheels/tires that are 8% smaller and which shaved over 60 lbs of un-sprung weight from stock 20's. Rear end ratio effectively went up from 3.16 to around 3.40+. Yet my mileage is also up as car is lower and lighter. Got 19.9 mpg averaging 72.9 mph (GPS) for the trip from Naples, FL to IA.

Livernois is a great operation... would trust their recommendations. You can also replace radiator (Unleashed Performance also sells them) and either buy a lower temp thermostat if you can find one, or drill a few small holes in stock one if you want to keep temps down a bit.
