well, i know colder is better sometimes and thats why they make 160 thermostats. I was just wondering cause there might be somthing wrong. My needle is only 1/4 inch from the bottom when it is fully warmed up. My heater gets pretty hot so idk...i guess, is a 1/4 inch from the bottom normal?

I'd like to know too, around town mine is between the M and A but on the highway the needle is on the L. Is that odd?

It does take longer than normal for the heat to get hot, I don't remmeber if it that means its stuck open or closed.

If it was stuck closed the coolant would not circulate through the radiator, so it would overheat. When it starts taking too long to heat up, it is stuck open and letting too much coolant circulate too soon.
