Oh yeah...you are the guy with the unmentionable tune that is Super Swift but Interesting. Wicked fast!

yeah that guy! LOL. I actually had an Unleashed guy read my data log, and was told it wasn't as aggressive as he thought! So maybe there is a little more with race fuel or some E85?

I would think race fuel would actually improve safety as well as your times. With that tune, I would want all the octane I could get to avoid detonation.

thats why I had an impartial person go over the logs. He actually expected it to be more aggressive.

Well, I posted time slip up on DragTimes, there are some really fast SHO's on there. It's cool to check out the comparison lists and then see what their mods are etc! Glad I was directed there.

Very, VERY COOL!

I'll hang onto the fastest (Ecoboost) title, and when the (financial) opportunity comes, i'll discuss in detail with Dan Millen about getting a built trans for my 2010, so i can run that 617awhp file, and give Zach a run for his money.

Until then..... all of you who worked so tirelessly on this effort, including Zach himself, should be lauded and commeneded a hundred fold!

Always awesome to see the small niche of knuckleheads empowering and bolstering the Taurus platform!

Zach needs to bring back the neons! :)

I am just glad it's all working out for him. He's put a shit ton of time/work and money into it and we fought issues the week before I came out, and then when I arrived, to include the car not starting as soon as it was put on the dyno. I look forward to what he's wanting to do next with an AEM, which will allow me to make this car do things that just can't be done on the stock ECU. With the amount of boost I want to run on this car, a good traction control system will need to be in place.

There was a time, not too long ago that I thought I would never see an [older] SHO break into the 11's. Well.... I'm just going to say that I don't think a SHO will ever go 9's. ;)

Top trap speed is now 136.11 on a massive spin run for Zach on 'medium-ish' boost.

Next pass with a 1.59, 60' resulted in a snapped axle in the diff on the 1-2 shift. He wasn't able to pop the broken stub out to try again, but he beat a healthy GT-R off the line and had he not broken the axle, I have not doubt he would have made the GT-R his bitch.



DSS "600 hp" axles aren't rated for 600+ ft-lbs of torque. :)

That said, Zach will be in the 9's next year. And my thoughts, it's just going to be a passing on his way to 8's when he upgrades to a bigger turbo.

typical of a tune only car...

12.91 @ 106.5

better air will help and getting a few more revisions on the E20 tune will hopefully get me into the mid 12's next year

Glad it hasn't been updated yet I smashed my best time yay. My new best was
[email protected] sorry it's a 2016 sho non pp running 100 octane Livernois tune and full bolt ons
