Well, I picked it up at 10:30 on Friday. 2010 Nissan Altima 3.5SR with black leather interior. I traded in my piddly little Neon to help reduce some of the cost and it covered just about all the taxes. Got 0% financing, which is nice.

I love the car. It now looks more and more like the Infinity G sedan and the interior is just as good. It rides amazingly well over all kinds of pavement. The pick-up is awesome and 80km/hr feels like 50.

These photos don't look nearly as good as the professionally taken brochure photos, but its an awesome car.

Its a great motor, you chose well there- but at the end of the day its still an automaic fwd.

Im curious why you wouldnt consider a new SHO also. The AWD wouldve been perfect for you up there.

I would say the $13,000-$15,000 price difference would have an effect on car choice.

Looks nice, I didn't realize they were still using that older chassis though?

Edit: I built one on Nissan's site, and the leather option added 5 grand to the price, since it required both the sport package, and the premium package. What the ****...

Anyways, that would make the Altima/SHO price difference closer to 10k...still quite a bit.

I'd never consider the new SHO either. Too much coin and too friggin' ugly...

If I was buying at that price level I'd get a used CTS-V.

My wife has a silver 6 speed 2002 Maxima. Nice car with same engine more or less.

I chose an automatic because of my daily driving habits. And maybe I'm just getting a bit lazy, too. :angelnot:

I don't like the look or size of the new SHO, nor do I like the cost. I like the look of the new Altimas, I like the way they drive, I like the interior. RWD/FWD, it gets me from A to B. I've been daily driving a FWD car for the last 10 years and have no problems continuing to do so. I get my fill of bumbling around town in a RWD car and/or truck at work.

Part of what I was looking for was a brand new car with warrantee. Again, maybe its because I'm getting a bit lazier, but I'm tired of doing repairs to my car in my garage/roadside/my work parking lot. Now when something breaks down, I call a 1-800 number and it gets dealt with for the next 4yrs.
