My girl and I have been trying to plan for late Feb. Ive never been on a cruise..The one I recently looked at was around 300 a head leaving from Ft.lauderdale. 3 day 2 nights, Grand Cayman Is and Jamaica.

So instead if we can get a whole group together I can just postpone it till then. Cuz its not like a honeymoon type of deal. We just want to get drunk and tear shit up.

Grand Cayman and Jamaica are nice. I would love to go there instead because it is alittle more scenic than the Bahamas but those cruises tend to run alittle more expensive than the Bahamas but we can look into that as well.

I was going to try to make it out to Texas in April for the FordBastards track day at TWS. But the GF has also been trying to talk me into going on a 3 day cruise in May for my graduation, so I might be down.

I live 10 minutes from where the boat leaves, if you get charged to park there, you could leave it at my house.

Remember everyone, as of the 1st of the year passports will be required. You used to be able to get away with a certified copy of your birth cert. and stuff but no more so make sure you do this shortly as it is a couple week process at the shortest.

What cruise line is that and what are the dates?

This is something we've been trying to plan for a while. Early Feb. was was the original plan, so she was online getting an idea what was available. I dont remember which boat it was. Ill talk to her later and post a link.

And we dont have passports either. Someone told me something crazy like a 30 day waiting list, so I need to get it now. I wish I was Cuban, then I could go wherever I wanted, whenever I wanted. But of course the cruise ship wouldnt be as nice.

I'm looking towards April/May. Royal Caribbean 4 night Bahama cruise runs about $250 a person (rooms are based on double occupancy, so if you want the room alone you belly up $500).

Hows this sound to you all that are interested? I am not satisfied with Carnival so I wm leaning more towards RC as I have not had one bad experience with them yet. Check out the itenary on their website, departs from Port Canaveral goes to coco cay and bahamas... If we can get enough people to commit (which I won't hold my breath) we can get a group rate and save some cash!

whats a texas world?

IDK, everything is bigger in texas, so perhaps a world of big things and big people. Personally I would choose drinking beer and causing trouble in the middle of the ocean over driving to texas to do even more driving.
