The elusive camshafts

I sent a message to Kelford Cams late last week. They are based in NZ. They are also the supplier to RMBMotorworks. They are in the process of making a camshaft for both longitudinal and transverse applications. The current site lists the Gen1 EcoBoost F150. https://www.kelfordcams.com/global/camshafts/ford/ecoboost-3-5-litre-gen1-dual-variable-v6 Contacting them through their website has stated that they put them on pause for a little bit for some higher-demand applications. They are hopeful to have cams out this next year and are curious to see what the desires are for this application. If you have a moment please shoot them a message. https://enquiry.kelfordcams.com/ Because these platforms are not as heavily modded in NZ, they are admittedly slow at identifying the international market desires.

If they make RMB’s cams and if RMB has made a cam for the 3.5 already they migh be farther along than we think.

They list them on RMB's website. However, if you go to Kelford, it says they are not shipping yet. I am guessing in this aspect, it is similar to the Raybestos situation. Hoping if they see some more interest and people are contacting them, it will move up their priority list.

If the first “beta” cam goes well than I bet production begins(educated guess). GHT is pretty close to finding out the actual abilities of the new cam. I’ll share the results here with you guys but I’m sure RMB will post it up on the site also.
