Howdy all!

Well, I just purchased a '93 ATX (w/ 76k miles) that is in GREAT shape with extensive documentation of all service. The guy even had about 50 digital photos of the 60k service stages and had them burned on CD-ROM for me...how cool is that?! :D

I am thinking about doing everything possible to protect the ATX in the car. I was thinking of flushing the fluid, upgrading the tranny cmmputer to the D4U1, and then putting the Ted B. LPM in. Any thoughts on this regimen? Think this might help me wring as many miles as possible out of the tranny? It seems to be doing OK, but I would like to firm up the shifts (hence the hardware modifications) and of course extend the life. Oh, and the tranny fluid and filter were last changed at 60k miles, so I think a flush and fluid change could only help things. Anything else you guys can think of here? Any thoughts on the regimen? Thanks in advance!

The only thing I would add to your list is an aftermarket tranny cooler. Heat is a major killer of our beloved(hah, right) ATX. If you do need a rebuild in the future make sure the shop will install a trans-go shift kit for you.
