Hey Guys,
I ran into a 24 of LeMons racer this weekend at Gingerman in South Haven MI. He was driving a black Acura Integra called the Sheen Machine and had a picture of Charlie Sheen on the hood. I caught and passed him on the track and after our session he came over to talk to me about my car. He said that he ran at the LeMons race in Texas and all he remebers about the SHO's is that they flew by him like a rocket on the straight aways. He seemed like a pretty good guy. Evadently he lives in South Haven, 15 minutes from the track. Lucky guy.

Ask Krek, sho's are fast in lemons.....they also have the reputation for unreliability.

I think just about any car that can be had for $500 is going to have it's issues when you beat on it for that long...continuosly. I am sure there are some vehicles that would be more reliable, but as with any race you are balancing performance and durability.

They have the reputation for both though.....generally the fastest things that make it into those events tho.

He must have been at the season ender at Eagles Canyon in Dec of '11. The top 3 teams from each region got free entry to the race.

We had 5 SHO's entered in that race. One blewup in the first hour, but the other four finished. Racing for 7-8 hours non-stop is ******* any car. It's hard to drive fast while taking it easy, not abusing the car.

Here's our championship thread.
