Hey everyone this is my first post. I have a 2 in. tear on my driver's seat and I am wondering what the best way to repair it would be. I looked in some stores and saw leather repair kits, but they really wouldn't work since there are the small holes in the seat and it wouldn't look right. Any ideas?

How good are you at sewing... It might be possible to remove the area of leather that's torn, seat or seat back, undoing the stitching and replacing the part that's torn. That's a pain though and if your leather's dry you could cause more problems than you solve. Another alternative would be to take your car to a leather shop, but I'm guessing that it'll be $150-$200 depending on how much they'll have to replace. Check out Shoclub.com classified and Ebay to see if you can find a replacement seat for around $100. Finally, you can go out and look at seat covers, too. It won't solve anything, but it's cheap, easy, and it hides your little... secret.

If it is possible, use Barge contact cement and glue it together. dont use any other brand! Obtain at leather shops, shoe repair shops.
Serious glue, best there is for leather. Coat both sides, wait until dry to touch but dont wait too long.
Goop works pretty good too. Be sure to clean the leather with laquer thinner before any gluing.
Otherwise an upholstery or a leather goods repair shop.
