soooooooo
waiting to see this! I have only run with TC off.
Jordan can you give more info please.
and I think the PP with Tc and Non PP can be in play here.
There is much more to TC than brake application on modern cars. Even in the 90s some cars could pull timing as well to try and limit power. Most newer cars can do much more, ABS, timing, fuel, throttle positionTraction control is part of the ABS system, it uses the brakes to slow the slipping wheel, like if you were going up an icy hill. It has to detectably slip before the system kicks in, it doesn't maintain launch torque like a limited-slip differential would. Slipping tires have already lost the advantage of static friction, and have moved into the lower coefficient of kinetic friction zone, and for brakes to to do their work, even though they transfer torque to the other wheel, they also dissipate friction and heat energy into the affected wheel's brake system when that wheel is robbed of kinetic energy to bring it back to non-slip speed.
Who are you tuned by. My GH tune is much more well behaved then the LMS tune.'17 non-pp with 93 tune 3bar plugs & Tstat, and when I try to launch with TC on I'd say about 50% of the time if the wheels slip even the tiniest bit I'll see the TC light flash and it seems to almost put me into neutral. If I keep the gas held down it revs up with no power and I have to let off completely to bring it back. With TC off I've never had that happen. Just my own experience...

I’m in the same boat !LMS but have been heavily debating switching over to GH to be honest with ya
when from lms to AJP there is a reason his tunes work so well..... lots of experience
Just the shift smoothness alone is worth the switch!

Man I never been one to succumb to peer pressure but you guys are making it really really hard. Lmao !AJP Tune here. All of his tunes are straight money.
Does brad have a performance pkg u can buy ? I’m sure he uses different gap of plug - different temp T-stat. Already have the 3 bar obviously. He is a dealer for the sct also correct ? I am leaning towards AJP but I do like the AO tune gearhead offers. I’ll never bring my car to the drag strip only (traffic light to traffic light)or the race trackI like the quick cruiser ride. I just want that push back acceleration through the gears. By this time next week I will have a new tuner !
Agreed, I also run both. Brad doesn't do packages however so you'd have to piece something together.I've run both, and either way you can't go wrong.
I would bet switching tuners will get rid of your issues. I am very happy with Matt's AO tune, no more having to turn TC off if I wanted to get on it, shifts like a sports sedan should now, not to mention no more dangerously low fuel pressure issues in the winter.LMS but have been heavily debating switching over to GH to be honest with ya
First question is do you have the Performance Package(PP)?
If so, press the TC button 2 times quickly. This will turn off TC and put you in Performance mode. That is how I attack the streets.

This is not 100% accurate. Push the button once turns off traction control completely. Push it twice quickly puts it into performance mode but TCS is still active. Push and hold for 5 seconds while holding brake turns off everything, traction & stability.
Pressing traction twice quickly in my car doesn't do anything. I have tried....lol.
Hym? It works on mine and even says "Performance Mode," on the gauge cluster.
That sucks. Thats how i drive it daily. Lets the rear end move around a bit. I have too much fun with my daily U Turn i have to make. Haha.Yeah, there is a whole thread on it. Mine does not work.
