Just wondering what you fellers run with, I’ve heard nothing and just want to be educated. Thanks in advance.

First question is do you have the Performance Package(PP)?
If so, press the TC button 2 times quickly. This will turn off TC and put you in Performance mode. That is how I attack the streets.

Or hold down the button for 5 seconds while pressing the brake pedal and it turns the whole advance trac system and its nannies completely off.

What does that do, actually.

TC off= will shut off the computer from stopping the free spinning tire if you have wheel spin. This will let you spin the tires with it off.
Advanced track if the car spins the tires and is not going in a strait line will pulse the brakes on any tire to help straiten the car back to the strait line

Thanks everyone. Not sure if I have the PP package or not, but the information was helpful regardless.

I hit the TC off when I take my exit to work and when I leave work. Several stop lights and I don't want to get caught with my pants down, but no one even bothers to try against my old man MKS. Almost 3.5 years in and not one challenger...

Sorry, but no one but us knows we are fast cars. And most don't look fast either. Jus look like grampa cars. Just accept this or go challenge them.

I've more than accepted it and I really don't need to be street racing anyhow. Either way, TC off because you never know when your moment will come.

My first run down the track, a group that was with a guy who had a newer 392 Auto Scat Pack Challenger came over and was like, "WTF is that thing? Went faster than we expected!" Then I lined up with that Challenger and pulled him down the track before he inched ahead at the finish line. Good times!

Wait till you have a chance to gap an over zealous Hellcat owner.

While they are blowing the tires off it and feathering for traction, you're slowing down for the next stop light.

I've always had my best times with traction control on at the drag strip.

Interesting...I always turn it off when I am at the drag strip, but now that you mention it I left it on for my dragy pulls. I guess I have a new thing to test out tomorrow. It will be interesting to see if there is any difference.

Nonpp traction control on. If I have it off I spon too much and the 1-2 shift hates it. I now have radials for the front and I believe I did one run without traction control on at the strip and it was just basically in line with the other runs albeit it heat soaked slower. Spinning ain't winning and I think traction control helps you off the line into second at that imo
