TC question

I know the TC locks and unlocks with the AC on. However, my TC locks and unlocks even when heat is on. This seems wrong to me. The SES light is not on. Any thoughts?

the TC should not be locking and unlocking on just heat. Is it on defrost? Usually it only does that if the AC compressor is being utilized. Other than that it should stay locked.

It's been doing it for a while now. This morning on the way to work I was just using heat and the TC kept locking and unlocking. It locks and unlocks when I use the defrost also.

It will do that any time the compressor is engaged. That occurs in everything but floor or vent. Auto will cycle the compressor as will defrost. The best way to get rid of that is get Doug's programming.

Seems like the climate control uses the ac system even when the heat is on. I know that sounds screwy but if it is like my Lightning it does. There is only one position if I recall does not use the ac..but damn if I can recall at the moment. Check the owners manual. I could be wrong..I have been before.
