hey everyone.. im new to this but i drive a 93 taurus gl:)-/ w/e its a factory freak i swear).. since i'm only 18 years old and technically it's the parents' car, i cant do performance mods to it(they wont let me) or drop in a sho engine, which i was going to do last summer. so let me know what u think of the mods i did to her so far.. :)

http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/musashiclown/lst?.dir=/My+Car&.view=t

pics are there.
the list:
waxed the **** out of her
2 12" volfenhag 500w rms, 1000w peak subwoofers w/ a 1200w lanzar amp.. (oh boy does that thing kick)
window tint on the rear windows
replaced hubcaps
insulated the trunk lid to try to stop vibrations
put rubber under EVERYTHING to try to stop vibrations.

future cosmetic mods(very near future like next couple of days.. i'll have pictures up on that site as i do them:

Black striping along the sides
spraypaint the wheels black so the hubcaps look like rims(hey, i'm 18 and cant afford the good stuff)
front window tint
new paint job?(over the summer)
lowering springs?(over the summer)
possibly putting a dual exhaust w/ the pipes running along the sides of the car right under the door, if i can make enough $ over the summer to do it and can still afford college..

she's not a sho but i still burn ricers like theres no tomorrow.. funny thing, the only races i've lost have been against a 2000 stang and a 2003 tbird.. and i've raced civics, camrys, passats, cavaliers, etc.. yeah yeah they're all slow cars, but its funny seeing their faces when "the vtec!" gets burned by a granny car wink

alright enough wasting everyone's time.
peace

I still like your idea of dropping in a SHO motor! thumb

Personally, I like the SHO styling best. Wanna buy mine? :p

There is a nice GL on this board, member name is Mikeys_Taurus he works or owns (can't remember)Midwest SHO which is located in Chicago IL. He seems like a cool guy and his 95 SLO is faster than his 93 SHO. I would also like to route you to Taurus Car Club because they are all about taurii and not just SHO.
