wats up i was just wondering if anyone could tell me which of the four wires coming off of the ignition pack is the tach wire im planning on instaling an aftermarket tach, but not sure which wire it is and i cant find a repair manual that covers the sho the tach is going in a 1990 mtx sho any ideas thanks

On the DIS module pin 12,a green and yellow wire is the idm signal wire that is the tach wire. Pin twelve is at the top on the right side as you are facing the module from the passenger fender. The module is marked with a 12 for the pin #.
I got this from autometer a tech named Jim. There are a number of places to connect it to.

I know that the stock tach isnt all that accurate, but do you really need another one in the car? I can understand the shift light.... but not another tach....
