Well, I get to spend another weekend under the hood. This time I have a hose leaking from the t-stat housing. Is it easier to get to the hoses with the intake runner taken off. I already took the throttle body off. While I got the throttle body off I wanted to clean the carbon and crap out of it, but there is a sticker saying not to clean because of a special coating. How do I clean it without ruining this "special coating"? Same with the intake runners if I have to remove them. If I knew this car would be high maintenence like some women I know I wouldn't have bought the thing!

No, I did that long ago. I'm talking about those smaller hoses, one looks like it has a sensor on the end of it, and or hoses for the heater core.

I'll rephrase the question I have a coolant leak somewhere between the t-stat housing and the firewall. I assume that the two lines going through the firewall are for the heater core, are there any other lines in that area that could leak?
