T-Rex grill installed

Well the T-Rex powder coated black grill showed up on Wednesday night.
So Thursday night after work I decided to install the grill. It was a little bit of a pain as you had to take off the bumper cover..
You needed to cut out a few parts of the factory grill and then prep for the install of the new one..
All in all it came out pretty good, really happy with the quality of the T-Rex grill.
I think I want to take the bumper cover off again and have the chrome surround painted body color. I think that will look better and blend the grill together a lot better.

I think the same treatment to the lower grill would finish off the look, but it looks 10 times better then stock.

Dump the chrome. It will look even better. Look around this section for some other dechromed grille(s) and appearance changes.

Looks awesome. Great job but I agree to lose the chrome and match the body color.

dare I say, i don't care for it that much, especially with the lower grill being different.

if they were both the same, it would probably look better to me, but the 2 mixed grills just don't 'mesh' imo

But it does look damn good. Except until the bottom grille is mesh, I think I like the blacked out stock grille better...

Noice! I gotta agree on the lower grill though, the pics from T-rex have one with it, it really completes it.
