So Tim. I take it your computer is working now?SuperHO said:If you're revving past 2500rpms at the dragstrip, you're either running slicks or spinning a LOT. I've always granny launched, spun and STILL got crappy 60ft times.

Hey thanks for the advice. I should be getting a spec stage II this week. Don't know if im brave enough to do it myself though. Also about your stage III, are you saying that it still doesn't matter what clutch you have that will still happen?matasho said:i had this same problem bit i had a spec stage 3 but i was drag racing and missed 3rd gear hit the rev limiter and stepped back on the clutch jammed it into gear tried to keep going but the vibration told me to stop. when i got to my shop and pulled the tranny out it had a broken pressure plate strap. the pressure plate is out out round and causing the vibration i also did this with a stock clutch but that was 2nd gear and that time i just bent a strap but same result alot of shaking and the shifter is really hard to move while car is running. best to just do a clutch job and youll see thats most likley what this problem is, but you prolly toasted your tob too so make sure to replace it and the quill sleeve too. hope i could be some help good luck if this is your first tranny pulling experience. it gets easier!

I dont think thats what it is but how can you tell?jedhead said:If you have a phantom grip installed, I would remove it.
