At the 300hp level, stock injectors are fine. Bring the fuel pressure up with the boost to compensate for the extra charge, and things are ok up to 7 or 8 pounds of boost (more boost than I will need).
300hp on the stock injectors is pushing it. Let's look at it this way.
NA - Recommended
(24/.45) x 6 = 320hp
Boosted - Recommended
(24/.55) x 6 = 262hp
Now, take those numbers and multiply them by .7 to find out what the injector can support at 70% duty cycle. If you notice, under NA conditions, the SHO injectors will support 224hp.
In addition, the stock FPR is not ideal under boost. Start boosting the fuel pressure and watch the WEAK stock SHO pump give you problems by cracking piston ring lands.
If you want to do this, go ahead, just be sure to post pictures of the blown motor when it happens. Take your time and do more research. I built my own supercharged SHO and I've worked on at least 3 more, one of which producing over 100 more hp than a GT-40.
You know, you're talking to people who have "been there and done that". I've made my own mistakes, but MOST IMPORTANTLY, I watched and learned from other peoples mistakes. In all honesty, I don't care if you blow up your motor, it'll just give us another story to tell when the next guy comes on the forum and wants to do the same as you.

main bearings have not shown to wear anywhere near as fast as the rod bearings. Plus it is alittle more advanced than doing rod bearings.
A tight belt on a supercharged motor has shown to significantly wear the front main bearing. We pulled Pat's white car apart a couple weeks ago to find LOTS of wear on the upper bearing. There was more copper showing than I've seen on worn rod bearings. He's going to fix this issue by relocating the idler pulley and slotting the pulley like a Reichard.
If you're not going to tune the motor, you might as well just give me your car... I'll take the rev limiter off it and see how fast I can go in first gear before the things destroy's itself.

I lasted about two months with 9lbs before I got bored.
I wasn't going to go over 6 PSI on my car.... Now I'm looking for 550-600hp.
