About 2 1/2 years ago, I ordered a Dynomax Catback Exhaust System for my 92MTX from Summit Racing, and couldn't have been happier with it or it's performance.

Until the mufflers rotted out.

Of course, I was all like, "Oh, that's ok, lifetime warranty on the mufflers, no biggie." So I called and explained, and the guy on the phone was like just the mufflers were warranted (which I knew already), so I sent them back for my warranty exchange.

So Monday I call for a status update, and the girl at the other end tells me, "well, those are special order now..."

Uh oh, here it comes...

"...so we don't have them in stock."

:shakehead

So I ask how long would it take to get them to me, and she says "it might be some time... at least 2 weeks..."

:shakehead :shakehead :shakehead

Of course now I'm all salty, knowing that the only reason why my car won't be ready registration and inspection by next weekend is because I now have no mufflers. The only reason, in fact. EVERYTHING else on the car is done.

Well, except for paint... but w/e.

So I got this email today telling me that since they couldn't send me new mufflers in a reasonable amount of time, they're gonna send me an entire brand new catback system!!:hail: :hail:

So, in short, Summit = Win. :thumb:

If you can do the welding yourself, just slap on some cheapies to get inspected.

Summit is pretty awesome. I have never had a problem ordering from them

Hmmmm.... maybe it would be better just to order some lifetime warranty mufflers from them instead of the summit turbos? Aww, who am I kidding, at $15 a pop, you can't beat that! I will agree that I have never had a problem with them!

I've ordered just about everything I used for my Mustang and a lot of my SHO stuff from Summit, except for the stuff I couldn't get there, and I have NEVER had a bad experience. Plus being in Michigan, stuff that is in stock will show up UPS no later than 3:00 pm the next day. Can't beat that whatsoever... :thumb: for Summit

I used to go to the Summitt Store in Summit, Ohio and pick up stuff I wanted. They are awesome to deal with and the showroom floor is freaking awesome! Built motors, blowers and wheels, and fuel sytems and blah blah blah. They also have race cars and nascar hoods and shat hanging from the ceiling. I've spent waay waay too much money there.
