Summer Picnic - POSTPONED

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to circumstances beyond my control, I've been forced to change the date of the summer picnic to Saturday, June 18th. That means it's a little over three weeks away. I know that it's kind of last minute; but I had to change the date. I appologize for any problems this may cause and I will not deviate again from this date.

If there is still enough interest, and I hope there is, I'll still hold the event. Please post here if you are going to attend so that I can plan how much food to procure for that weekend. Please indicate if you are bringing a guest or two.

Well, it doesn't look like this is going to happen this year. So far, just a few "possibles" and one definite "maybe". I'll wait a week before I axe it permanantley; that is, unless by the grace of God there's a rush of people who've freed up their schedules. No big deal, I'll try it again next year... or maybe plan an OkSHOber Fest this fall.

Sorry to think this might not happen Mike but I know it takes a good effort to set it up and you probably would like to see a good turn out. As for myself and the family, it happens to be a tough week end all around with 3 "family things" on the docket. I will have to cast a vote for the Okshober fest. Mike... I hope you maybe can find another date this summer to run it. I'll help in any way I can if you need any help with it... You have the PERFECT location for a car meet too, private property and geez I'll bet we could get 50+ SHOs there if we lined em up right, if not more.. I;lll watch here for updates, I hope this pans out for sometime soon!

Officially Postponed until further notice. Looks like I'll try a shot for "OkSHOberfest 2005" in the fall. Maybe couple it with a fall-folliage tour of the Berkshires. I'll post a new thread in a few months.
