I really like the Alloy color off the Fusion, call me strange but when I paint mine I want it to be a Ford color ;)

Maybe a tu-tone with Silver on bottom and Alloy, or some other dark metallic color, on top... I would want a red pinstripe to break it up, and match the calipers to the red....

I'm having my 3rd gen repainted in the spring.... I looked at all different colors including the PPG specialty colors. ( some local auto parts stores should have them) But I did end up picking a Ford color. I just felt it was right. it's actually the first color I picked when I started looking at new color's. I did look at the great PPG color called Perfectly purple. Was really nice and dark almost black but changed in the light not like a "Barney purple".
Just make sure whatever you pick it's what you want. Don't settle because you kinda like it.

If your not to worried about color match(probly wont be because its a whole repaint) take a look at there lower line OMNIE(sp?)

What about the dark gray/gunmetal color on reguler SLO gen 2's? I've seen that color around and I always wonder why they didn't make a SHO in it.

I think the silver color that came on the gen II's would look sharp with a black interior.

Black is more difficult to buff out and will show more scratches and get dirty quicker.

I like the gunmetal 4th 5th gen taurus color too.. you get all the afffects of the black without being black. I think it's a good choice. Or go 2 tone, gunmetal and grabber orange!!!!!

OK the black on black is a HOT color combo but if your trying to be original no matter what shade of black you get it's still black. Go bold, unique.

how about a real nice midnight blue or a real nice dark green that both look black at a different angle from the green or blue?
