Whatcha got planned Josh? I'd think a SLO sf would fit as a Gen III can be fit on a Gen II. I'd guess mount locations are different. Is their any on ebay?

If I can get my hands on one for cheap I am gonna make some measurements cut it up and, after learning how to weld, create a NS engine cradle.

Mind you this will not be anything soon. Then again.. if it is the same I might clean and PC the new subframe and swap it with my dirty greasy one first.

we shall see. It all depends on if I go back to school in the spring and if I can get a job that pays more.

oh yeah...and whether or not I sell the car.

the only reason I would need them to be exactly the same is if I swap the subframes. I guess I am just curious if it will psychically bolt up regardless of whether or not the engine mounts are the same.

The four mounting points for all the subframes are the same from GENII to GEN III SLO or SHO (maybe even GEN I's but I can't be 100% on the GEN I). Where they will not be the same is overall strength and cross member design and layout including engine and trannie mounts. As well the inner box deminsion may not be the same (ie hole in the middle).

So GEN II to GEN III SLO to SHO subframes/engine cradle will interchange to the body of each other.

Gen2 ATX - MTX is quite different , motor and tranny monts not in same place. Gen2 ATX i think its same as a Gen3.

That's what I said. except that the GEN 2 ATX and GEN III atx are not the same. All subframes will inter change to the body of the car but not the engine/tranny etc.
