Thinking about doing a clutch job, but was wondering about what will happen when I remove the subframe bolts.

Obviously I should replace the bolts, but will I need a recall kit? any way to know before taking it apart? right now the subframe is solid.

Well depending on where your car is from it may not be required. If your location refers to Vancouver BC then you're probably okay, but you should inspect the subframe and look for rust around the bolt area. If there is none you are fine. Mine doesn't have a speck of rust on it and it's been registered in WA it's entire life.

BTW: You will get the most appropriate help in the Suspension forum. :sun:
