I'd like to weld in a set. I'd like them to be as thin as possible without just laying down a piece of steal. I was thinking 1 inch thick by 2 inches wide or maybe even 1/2 inch thick( don't know if that will to flexible) any ideas, pictures or let me know what you did. Thanks!

1" x 2" x .120" wall thickness is kinda the standard. The sets I have built like this are plenty strong to use as jacking points, make a BIG difference in feel, and weigh 25lbs. per pair. Some people use like .065" wall thickness, but these can be damaged by jacks, I have heard.

If you need dimensions, I have a schematic I can email you. (Thanks, Ishodu!)

Any difference in Short or Long connectors? Shorter are lighter, Longer look stronger. Any experiances with the Shorter ones?
