Trying to rid my car of the "thump" every time I step on the gas from a stop. When I first got the car, I replaced the sub-frame bushings with original Ford parts. It helped but didn't completely fix the problem. The car has been driven another 50,000 miles since then and I figure it's time to start looking again. What are the different aftermarket options that you guys have tried? Where are they available and what do they cost?

Thanks...

If you want rubber bushings then I would use the Ford rear bushings on all four corners. To eliminate the deterioration of rubber bushings get some solid aluminum ones. Be sure to slather never-seize all over them or they will become one with the subframe.
