Holy ****, the car hates me.

I drove 35miles one way lastnight, no issues.

Fill the car up today, drive 22 miles and it spits.....then recovers...

Drive another mile and it begins to loose power. I put the clutch it, rev it, and runs another mile. Then, lost all power.

I pull over and pull the bat cable. Wait a minute then put it back. It fires and off I go.....for about 4 miles, dies. Did the battery deal 3 times but now she fires, edge, dies.

I'm getting lunch now and I'm sure it'll start up and run fine after 30 minutes of sitting.

I've done the coil pack and CID. The CPS and crank sensor are good. Pump is priming.

Fuel filter clogged? Should I just burn it?

A) Burn it.
B) mine did this when my filter was clogged. Might be a good place to check. The One in the tank may also be ready to be replaces.

It's so weird though. I swear I can smell raw gas......

But, it can't very well be ignition, it isn't throwing any codes....

I had to replace the little ground cable between the negative battery terminal and the fender, made my car have zero power when I attempted to crank it.

My positive cable battery clamp was shot and even when it was tight it was poor enough to not let it crank. Your best bet is to solder a lug to the end of the cables and use battery connections that bolt to the wires.

Think I finally got it!

The battery was SHOT!! Never seen it before because it was hidden, but it was leaking everywhere.

I guess it was getting hot and causing havoc to the electrical system.

Can't believe I overlooked something as simple as that. New battery and cables installed. She's running great........for now. lol

It wouldn't hurt check the alternator output to make sure it's not over-charging.
