got 56k on my 97 and the front driver side makes a bobble rattle noise on roads with slight bumps. i replaced front struts ball joints end links and it went away for a day or two. curious if anyone else experienced this. wonder what it is?

It could be the upper strut mount. How is the front end? Does it bounce when you push up and down on that corner of the car?

With the car on, since your car has SARC suspension. With the car off it will be in full hard mode. I assume you replaced the front struts with factory when I say this.

Front sub-frame mounts? These can produce an interesting sound when they start to go. You likely repositioned them a bit when you replaced the ball joints and end links, just by wrenching things around, and that might have quieted them down for a few days?

Front end noises are the most difficult of things to find, at times.

If that is the problem, new sub frame mounts. They are a hard rubber of some sort with a metal core, IIRC. I replaced mine with solid aluminium ones some time ago now, and do not expect them to wear a great deal any more.

If you can feel it in the floor it has to be the sub frame bushing.

I must say I am kind of tired of dealing with my front suspension probs. I have also replaced ball joints, sway bar links, sf bushings, struts and mounts, and I still get the occasional clunk or clank. most things are tight at the moment so I am just living with it. and yeah I hear it / feel it in the floorboard too, atleast now its only ever so slightly

It is pretty straight forward. The rears are the easiest with just one bolt. The fronts have the main bolt and 4 smaller ones. I would either get solid aluminum ones or the rear bushings for all four corners.

Support the sub frame with a jack and then remove the bolts. Then slowly let the sub frame down until you can remove the bushings.

If that is a question, yes with some slight modification. The rear mounts are a much better design. There are only some rubber tabs that need ground off to make them work in the front.

Might as well get new bolts too. N804442-S426

They actually fit as-is, no modification needed. I much prefer the rears at all four corners versus the solid aluminum bushings.
