strange brake bleeding problem

I searched already and didn't find any relevant info. I just replaced my rear brake lines and I'm now bleeding the system and its not going well. I started at the right rear as usual and it went fine. I then moved to the left rear and nothing came out. the chiltons manual says to go from the right rear to left front then left rear then right front. i've done both methods and both times the left rear brake isn't really working, it tightens but can still be moved by hand. All was fine before I blew the hard line.

when bleeding the brakes it makes it to the "block" in the rear where it splits but then has trouble from there, whenever the fluid does come threw I have to hold the valve on the block open. after bleeding them quite a few times air still comes threw pretty frequently in small trails, the bubbles are about half the size of head of an average screw. When the fluid does come out it is going pretty slow much less than usual. this brake is the only one having problems though I am yet to do the front right. I have already taken the bleeder completely out and cleaned it and its fine, I clean the port it goes into as well. I've tried making sure the hose is on there tight and it is. I don't know where to go from here, I don't think there should be so much air in this line and the fact that that brake doesn't work means there something wrong. I haven't yet bleed the MC I'm not sure how.

Sequence doesn't matter much. RF & LR are together, LF & RR are together. One rear wouldn't affect the other.

Did you also replace the rubber hose to the LR? Almost sounds like a swelled-up hose. Or that circuit in the proportioning valve could be screwed up.

I haven't replaced any hose, just hard lines. I actually have the hold the valve open and I can feel it pushing against me when the brake pedal is down.

rear suspension at ride height? When its hanging, the prop valve is closed, allowing little to no fluid though.

the suspension is hanging I don't see how I could do this when its on the ground, unless I jacked up that wheel but thats kind of dangerous.

You shouldn't have to bleed the MC unless you just replaced it or let it run out of fluid. I remember a few years ago I did new front and rear calipers and new ss lines and it took me hours to remove all the air in the brake lines. Just keep at it eventually you will be air free.

the fluid I believe was almost completely gone, only the front left brake barely worked, and I drove over two hundred miles down the highway home.

I have no issues bleeding the rear brakes with the wheels on the ground. Just do a reach around the back side of the tire.

Pull the horse shoe clip off the rubber hose where it is attached to the frame,if it flows it is definitely a collapsed hose.I had NO back brakes at all,pulling the clips off and letting the hoses hang worked ! Temporary till ya get new hoses.

P S I never changed mine ,drove her till the motor puked!

it was a collapsed line, I loosen the pressure by prying the clamp the holds the brake line to the strut, a tiny amount of rust had built up and loosening the clamp was enough to get it flowing good again.
