One of the bearing bolts came out halfway and stopped... In the process of trying to get it unstuck, the head rounded off. I've gone through 1 large can of MAP gas and it won't budge. The bolt is out far enough that I cannot tighten the CV shaft back down as the ABS ring will contact the bolt.

WTF do I do? Can't get a vise grip on it and after beating on the control arm for an hour and a half, I pretty much gave up on taking the entire hub off of the car as the ball joint wont ******* move.

Is it possible for me to cut that stuck bolt off enough to let me drive it to the auto shop that I trust? FWIW, 2 of the 3 bolts are good and tight still. Cheapest tow is going to run me almost 220 bucks to that shop and I really don't have the extra cash to pay for that plus the shop's fees.

Cut it off. The end will be stuck in the old hub/bearing which you're tossing so it doesn't matter. You'll just need to find another bolt.

Cutoff wheel in a drill will probably be easiest.

Thanks. Just cut it off. Gonna take it to the DIY auto shop tomorrow and if I can't get it done there with a shop full of tools, I'll take it to someone who will laugh at me for being 'that guy'
