The Corbeau Taurus Brackets are easily under 10 pounds. I would go with a Corbeau FX1 or the CR1.

Finding a used SRD seat is going to be a task and Brand new they are nearly 700 bucks a seat. For that price you can get two very nice Corbeau seats.

+1 on the FX1, thats what i have well i have the fat guy version with is the fx1 pro i believe. It weighs in at 19 lbs, never weight the bracket i got with it but i wouldn't imagine it was more than 10lbs. The place i ordered it from had the seat for 329 and the bracket for $89 i think not bad for dropping 30ish lbs out of the car.

The FX1 is the seat that fits up to a 44'' waist.

The FX1 Pro is the seat for us "Smaller" people, up to a 36'' Waist.

Soloracer has the FX1 Pro for 299 Dollars with free shipping.

the only real weight savings is all in the bracket.

take some stock seats apart, they are suprisingly light without all the other junk.
