whats the best way to get it out with out the tool and without breaking anything

I personally jerry-rigged a wire coat hanger into two tools using pictures off the net.

Go to advance auto and buy the dang tool to take them out with... lol looks like two "U" shaped devices and it'll say "Stereo removal tool".

You can also use really thin screw drivers. The size of optical ones.

Even with the proper radio tool, it's tricky, you have to get them in there just right in order to push in those metal side taps...sometimes it' takes a minute to get it out. The tool thing is only like 4 bucks.
