After driving around with a broken motor mount for a while, my flex pipe has a crack in it and needs to be replaced. What diameter is the catback after the Y-pipe on a stock system? IIRC it's 2.25, but I want to be sure before ordering one online.

IIRC, it's 2.25" up to the Y-pipe then after the Y it goes to 2.5". I checked the rock auto site, and a stock muffler is sized at 2.5".

Its 2.25 but a flex pipe isnt stock on an MTX. We do have a brand new stainless catback at SHO Source...

I know it's not stock, but I was tired of replacing donuts. I've got a custom Frankensteined cat-back now. It's got a rigid coupler after the Y-Pipe right in front of the flex pipe for easy future repairs. I just couldn't remember what the diameter was when I bought the first one.
